Good news, my people! Our favorite hardcore warrior soul goddess is back with the official album version video for “Pearl”. For those of you new to Tamar-Kali, the song is from her fantastic Black Bottom album. Some of you will recall that she previously released a J Mage remix of the song that features the oh-so-dope Jean Grae. The album version video precedes tomorrow’s release of the Black Bottom Revue Live EP, which was recorded during her band’s spring tour. You can pre-order via her bandcamp page and get the previously unreleased song “Haunted Heart”.
Those of you in the NYC area can check out Tamar on Sunday, August 24 at Afropunk. She’ll be hitting the Green Stage at 3:30pm. Chea!
