LISTENING POST: Tecla — “Fiction Fairy Tales Of Love”

Check out @teclateclatecla's genre-mixing brew!

tecla

One of our favorite tracks from Tecla’s recently released album We Are The Lucky Ones.  We just saw Tecla last week opening for Ebony Bones.  She creates a compelling show with a bass player, drummer, some electronics and her powerful voice.  The song is a great example of how she fuses genres: You’ll hear tropical, Caribbean, funk, electronica and pop elements making for a great five-and-a-half minutes of body-rocking and head-nodding.  Check it out.
