PROMOTION: Ticket giveaway to see “Romeo & Juliet” on Broadway

RomeAndJuliet

This is potentially pretty epic.

The news in the mainstream press is that this will mark Orlando Bloom’s Broadway debut.  Most of you know him as the Elf archer Legolas in the Lord of the Rings trilogy or as Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean series.

For those of you unfamiliar with Condola Rashad, well, this is your chance.  She’s a two-time Tony Award nominee (once for 2012’s Stick Fly, and the other for this year’s A Trip To Bountiful).  We were first blown away by her performance in 2009 in Lynn Nottage’s Ruined, for which she was nominated for a Drama Desk Award and was honored the Theater World Award for Best Debut Performance in an Off-Broadway production.  She’s absolutely riveting.

In this new take on the class Shakespeare love story, the Montagues are white and the Capulets are black.

Previews for Romeo & Juliet start on Saturday, August 24.  The production goes live September 19 at the Richard Rogers Theater.

IMPORTANT: This form will be closed to submissions on Tuesday, August 27at 5PM after which a winner will be chosen.  The winner will be able to attend a weekday performance August 28 and September 26.  To enter, please fill out the Google form below. One entry per person, please.  Again, there’s one (1) pair of tickets up for grabs.
