Four brothas head off for their annual hiking trip. Just as an alien invasion starts.  Not only do they have a lot of interpersonal issues that bubble to the surface and need to be worked out, but they’ve also got to figure out what exactly is happening.  That’s the premise of director Keith Josef Atkins’s new sci-fi series.  You may recall that Keith is one of the founders of The New Black Fest, community and showcase for emerging voices in theater.

He’s working on additional episodes of The Abandon, funding for which he crowdsourced via Indiegogo.  If you like what you see, please spread the word.  Check out the 16-minute pilot episode here:
