UPCOMING: Res Starts NYC Residency @ DROM — 10/11

@res kicks off her 3-month residency in NYC with music & a peek at her upcoming doc

Excited to share with you all that the talented singer/songwriter Res is about to start a 3-month NYC residency at DROM on Thursday, October 11.  You guys know it’s been a busy year for the Philly-born artist: She and Talib Kweli released the Idle Warship project earlier this year; she’s working on an EP of Fleetwood Mac covers called Refried Mac,  as well as her own third solo album and, to top things off, there’s a documentary film being made about her by director Steve Zegans, a portion of which was shown at the recent BlackStar Film Festival.

Res is billing this evening as “an intimate night of classic music, industry confessions, and a sneak peek of her upcoming documentary.”

Additional residency dates are:

  • Thursday, November 8
  • Thursday, December 6

But in the meantime, why wait?

Should be a lot of fun.  I encourage advanced tix, so click the image to get to Drom’s site for details.
