The second week of Weeksville’s 2012 Garden Party kicks off tomorrow.

Really looking forward to finally seeing Spoek Mathambo.  And I’ve heard so much about Thundercat’s chops and his handling of the low-end that anticipation is high ’round these parts.  Here he is at SOB’s earlier this year:

I’m looking forward to catching Georgia Anne and seeing what the buzz is all about.  While I haven’t been impressed with what I’ve heard from her, I’m open.  Sometimes artists are better live or, conversely, their live show doesn’t translate to albums well, which could be the case here.  Here’s her song, “Roses”:
