It is always interesting to contemplate the future, but sometimes we become preoccupied with the strangest elements--the great technological differences--when what remains important is the content and freedom of our ordinary choices, of the quality of our daily lives.  We have various forms of technology today that were once unimaginable, but how much freedom to pursue their own happiness and goals do most people have?
