New music from Nigerian songwriter Nneka, whose fourth album (and second US release) Soul Is Heavy, is scheduled for February 28, 2012.  Expect more of her signature hip hop beats, reggae grooves, brass riffs and African-pop, along with appearances by The Roots’ Black Thought and UK singer and MC Ms. Dynamite.  In the meantime, check out this song and video that pays homage to her country as a source of pride and inspiration.
