VIDEO: Saul Williams — "Explain My Heart"

S aul primes the pump for the release next month of “Volcanic Sunlight”


New music from Saul’s forthcoming album, Volcanic Sunlight, scheduled to drop in the states on November 11.  Gave it a quick listen and my first impression: Two thumbs up!  What I like is the mature sound I hear.  The album is crafted and that’s in no way a bad thing.  Lots to like here.

This video follows the one for “Dance,” which was released in May.  In the meantime, here’s the video which, like the album, was created in Paris, his newfound home:

    I dig it…what an amazing journey he has/is had/having. I still remember am haunted by seeing one of his first spoken word gigs in NYC almost 15 years ago! Love his continued blossoming/building/evolving.
