That’s right. The Black Rock Coalition’s proposal is in the running for a Pepsi Refresh grant of $250,000. With this money, the BRC wants to produce a multi-city, multicultural alternative music festival. You can read more about the proposal here.
Bottom line: The organization’s proposal needs to be in the top 2 vote-getters for the month of October in order to get the money. Please vote, and please vote every day (it’s allowed!). A few ways to vote:
