UPCOMING: 3rd Annual Roots Picnic in Philly — 6/5

3rdAnnRootsPicnic060510rt

Good stuff jumpin' off all over this weekend: The BRC's 25th Anniversary Concert at Summerstage; the Michael Jackson symposium at the Schomburg; and the screening of Kenyan sci-fi film Pumzi at Weeksville.

And to all of that, we should add the Roots Picnic in Philly.  Looks like a great lineup.  Tickets are $66 each or $198 for a 4-pack.  You can buy them here, and pay no surcharge thanks to Ticketmaster's beneficence.

Finally, there's a way to win tickets. Info on that here.
