LISTENING POST: The Family Stand — "Story"

A download for a good cause.

Like the song “The Last Time We’re Here,” this song is taken from The Family Stand’s forthcoming album Definition.  The difference here is that the song is available for immediate download on iTunes.  What’s better, all proceeds from the song will go to the legal defense of Donovan Drayton, son of the band’s longtime friend and guitarist, Ronny Drayton (above).  I don’t have all the details, but Ronny has told me that this case is one where good kid was hanging with the wrong crowd, at the wrong place and at the wrong time.

You can find out more about the case by clicking here.

Stay tuned, as I’ll be sitting down with Ronny very soon to discuss the case and where things stand.  In the meantime, enjoy the song and, if you’re so moved, please download it from iTunes now.
