BRC's Grace Jones tribute — Saturday, December 12

First, this is a FREE show at the wonderful Brooklyn Museum.  From the BRC newsletter:

In conjunction with the exhibition Who Shot Rock & Roll: A Photographic History, 1955 to the Present, the Black Rock Coalition presents a tribute to Grace Jones, a pioneering and iconic figure in America’s black rock tradition.

BiLLLL$ and Light Asylum perform explorations and reinterpretations of Jones’s music.

TIME: 2:30PM
WHERE: Brooklyn Museum
200 Eastern Parkway @ Washington Avenue
INFO: (718) 638-5000;

Should be a fun afternoon.  Bring the kids.  My favorite Grace Jones track is "Slave To the Rhythm".  Hopefully, they'll work that into the set somehow.
