LISTENING POST: Ghost Gamblers–"Stranded in San Antone"

While we await the next Earl Greyhound album, here's a taste of bassist Kamara Thomas' country-rock project, Ghost Gamblers.  For those of you with a soft spot for Americana and southern rock, this should do just fine.  The song tells a great story, has propulsive energy, a hummable hook, and features Kamara on lead vox.  In fact, thank me later when you find yourself singing the chorus hours later.

I assume there will be a full-length album soon.  In the meantime, this three-song EP is available on iTunes. Each song features one of the band's three vocalists, so you get a different sound with each song.
