Wednesday events: Farai Chideya (and I) in Bed-Stuy, and me on WKCR

Two things tonight:

First, I'm joining Farai Chideya at Brownstone Books in Bed-Stuy.  She'll read a bit from Kiss The Sky and then she and I will do a live interview.  I expect that it will be a good and engaging conversation about the book and Black rock, in general.

WKCR interview

Later that night (early Thursday morning, actually), I've been invited to join the Audio Gumbo crew on WKCR 89.9 FM beginning at 1AM.  This will be cool, since it'll be a show with live performances by MuthaWit, Paris Suit Yourself & Kaneng Lolang, three artists who will be performing at the upcoming URB Alt Festival.

If you're a night owl, please tune in.  And, yes, you can live stream it if you're outside of the NYC.
