My interview on KBOO.FM (February 19, 2009)

Thursday night, I had the pleasure (and honor!) of being asked to be a guest on Jamilah Bourdon's show, "Guess Who's Coming to Radio?" on Portland, Oregon station KBOO FM.  The show focuses on public affairs, music and culture that's relevant to Black folks here in the States, but given from a youth perspective.  Our discussion focused on Black rock, of course, and touched on defining it and what it means.  We also talked about our individual experiences and how we got involved in our respective scenes.

Jamillah was kind enough to cut the roughly 30 minute interview into two sections: The first is about 13 minutes, while the other is about 15 or so minutes.

Looking forward to continuing the conversation with Jamilah.
