BRC Black History Month Residency Starts Tomorrow @ BAM!

Honeychild Coleman (r)

One of the nice things that I’ve come to count on each February is that the Black Rock Coalition has its residency at BAM Cafe on the weekends.  On three Friday nights, you’ve got the opportunity to check out some new and established artists who proudly fly the Black rock flag.  The best part of it is that the events are always FREE, so there’s only the risk of your time in the event you really don’t like what you’re hearing.  Hat’s off to BRC Operations Director Darrell McNeill for putting this series together.  So, starting tomorrow night, here’s the deal:

Rachid is Rasalus w/Honeychild Coleman (special guests Moist Paula Henderson and MC Nature Boy Jim Kelly)
Dustbin Brothers on decks

Power Douglas w/Dragons of Zynth, Tunde Adebimpe and Kyp Malone (TV On The Radio)
CX KiDTRONiK on decks

Earthdriver w/Swear On Your Life
Dustbin Brothers on decks

Where: BAMcafe, 30 Lafayette Avenue, Brooklyn, NY
When: 9PM
How Much: FREE!
Info: (718) 636-4100;
