For as long as I’ve been involved with the BRC, Felice Rosser’s band Faith has been a mainstay. If they come to a venue near you, check them out. In fact, even if you have to travel out of your way, they’re worth the effort. I just saw them a few weeks ago at Southpaw here in Brooklyn, and they were on a bill with Shrine for the Black Madonna and Tamar-Kali. After all, what’s not to like about a band led by a woman on bass, whose voice is like honey?
